Software Tester

Job Description:

Working alongside a team of our experienced testers and guided by one of our project leads, responsibilities include the development of test scripts, functional and cross browser test execution, reporting of any issues discovered during testing and daily reporting on progress. The information provided during our test effort aids clients in assessing the readiness of their software for release. The quality of information we provide to our clients is of upmost importance therefore, excellent written English skills are essential. Ongoing training will be provided and you will be encouraged to work towards relevant industry qualifications.

About You:

Our ideal candidate has a background in computing, is looking to pursue a career in software testing and will be able to concentrate on complex tasks in a dynamic environment while keeping focus on our overall goal to deliver high quality information to our clients. You should be a diligent and determined individual able to demonstrate through your work experience the ability to work on your own as well as within a team. A sound knowledge of general IT and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Coding skills are not required for the role although would be beneficial. We are especially keen to hear from applicants based in the local area.

Business Development Manager

Job Description:

We are recruiting a confident customer focused individual into a new business development role to join our Business Development Team. Working alongside our Managing Director, Commercial Director and other Business Development Managers you will be helping us to sustain and grow our client base and to expand the services we offer. You will undertake prospecting activities, build client relationships, and become a focal point for inbound work enquiries within our company. The role will require ongoing management of existing accounts in order to grow sales, but the majority of focus will be on acquiring business from new customers. The position exists within a financially targeted and incentivised department.

About You:

You will be a naturally friendly, well-mannered and driven individual, enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment handling multiple client accounts. You will be from a sales, or technical sales background; will certainly enjoy regular interaction with other people, be used to working under and handling pressure and ideally have an appreciation of web and mobile technology. You will need to be methodical, organised and positive in your work approach and someone who takes ownership, responsibility and ultimately pride in the work they deliver. You will be happy working as part of the team to deliver on the goals of the company, and also comfortable working towards your own individual targets.

  • Pipeline management – accurate and timely sales forecasting
