Digital accessibility certification
Our accessibility accreditation gives your organisation independent, expert validation that your website, app, or digital platform is accessible and inclusive.
Accreditation is valid for one year, ensuring your commitment is both current and credible.
Independent validation of your commitment to accessibility
We offer a tiered accreditation framework that recognises your progress at every stage of the accessibility journey.

Level 1 - Digital Accessibility Commitment
Level one accreditation demonstrates that meaningful steps have been taken toward compliance. An organisation has undergone an accessibility audit but has not yet fixed all identified issues. This level recognises organisations that are actively working toward alignment with WCAG 2.2 AA.
This level includes:
- Manual and automated accessibility testing of a representative sample of pages using the WCAG Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM).
- Identification of key issues and verification that fixes have been implemented, ensuring that progress is underway.
- A publicly available accessibility statement, including contact details for users to report accessibility issues.
- Accreditation that is valid for 12 months, providing transparent evidence of your organisation’s ongoing commitment to accessibility.
Level one helps organisations demonstrate accountability and build trust, even as they continue working towards full compliance.
Level 2 - Digital Accessibility Certification
Level two accreditation demonstrates that an organisation has undergone a comprehensive accessibility audit and is mostly or fully aligned with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This level shows credible proof of compliance and highlights accessibility as a business priority.
This level includes:
- Comprehensive manual and automated testing of a representative sample using WCAG-EM.
- Verification that all identified issues have been remediated, with no new accessibility issues introduced.
- Confirmation of WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance in the majority of areas.
- A publicly available accessibility statement with contact details for issue reporting.
- Accreditation that is valid for 12 months, demonstrating your ongoing commitment to accessible design and development.
Level two helps organisations demonstrate accountability, build trust with stakeholders, and show measurable progress toward maintaining accessibility.
Level 3 - Digital Accessibility Certification Plus
Level three accreditation builds on level two by validating accessibility improvements through real-world use. This level demonstrates that an organisation not only meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements but has also tested its digital products with people with disabilities, integrating feedback wherever possible.
This level includes:
- All elements of level two accreditation, ensuring full technical testing and remediation.
- User testing by people with disabilities, providing lived experience feedback on usability barriers and opportunities for improvement.
- Integration of user feedback into remediation, ensuring accessibility improvements are validated through authentic user journeys.
- A public accessibility statement, including contact details for ongoing issue reporting.
- Accreditation that is valid for 12 months, giving confidence that accessibility is maintained over time.
Level three accessibility certification provides the strongest assurance that your digital product is not just compliant, but also genuinely inclusive, user-friendly, and accessible.
